Efforts to prevent the risk of cancer should be undertaken in various ways, one of them by keeping your diet and a healthy lifestyle. Over the past two decades, the number of people getting cancer is increasing, especially in India.
About 1.7 million new cases of cancer-related occurred in each year. To avoid the increase in cancer, the researchers advised to regularly consume foods below:
1. Tomatoes
Antioxidant lycopene in red tomatoes help reduce the risk of various cancers. Besides vitamin C is high enough in tomatoes prevent cell damage that triggers cancer. By regularly eat tomatoes, the researchers say it is possible to reduce the risk of prostate cancer, pancreatic and colorectal.
2. Organic Green Tea
Green tea can help prevent damage to cells and acts as a shield against cancer. With regular consumption of green tea can prevent bladder cancer, breast and skin. Consuming green tea is believed to reduce the risk of cancer efficiently by keeping blood sugar levels from rising.
3. Broccoli
Broccoli contains indole-3-carbinol which consists of phytonutrients, sulforaphane and indoles. Some researchers say eating broccoli helps prevent the risk of cancer.
Research shows three contents above help deactivate estrogen that causes tumor growth. All three are simultaneously increasing hydroxyestrone being cancer-protective properties. Broccoli can suppress tumor cell growth of breast and colon cancer.
4. Mushrooms
Some types of mushrooms such as maitake, reishi, shitake and button mushrooms can boost immunity and help prevent cancer. The mushrooms are used for reducing the risk of cancer by lowering blood sugar levels.
