Turmeric – healthy properties and inflammation
Turmeric is Curcuma Longa in Latin and a part of the Ginger-Family. It is a perennial herb containing the polyphenol curcumin which gives turmeric its yellow color. The plant originates from Asia and grown mainly in China, India and the Java island.
Turmeric is strongly anti-inflammatory

Doses of 200 mg have shown results in joint pain. For a more healing and stronger anti-inflammatory effect, one recommends 1000 mg to 2000 mg daily. By ingesting turmeric with a little black pepper, the curcumin absorption increases by up to 2000 percent.
